This soluble dietary fiber is a spray-dried powder produced by the pyrolysis and controlled enzymatic hydrolysis of cornstarch. It is considered a digestion resistant maltodextrin, which is readily dispersible in water, then appears crystal clear, carries no inherent flavor and does not thicken. It has very good anti-acid properties and can be cooked in foods, even at high temperatures.
