Although Flax seed use is mentioned in this video, current research promotes Chia seed use and safety over the use of Flax seed. Please refer to our article on Chia Seed vs. Flax Seed, for details. Chia seed is higher in Omega-3 and contains a more nutritious fiber; Chia is high in Anti-oxidants, which prevents rancidity of the Chia oils; Flax seed contains NO anti-oxidants. Chia seed is considered a whole food, miracle food; flax seed in not. Flax seed causes sterility in Chickens - there are no side-effects with Chia Seed.
Also, Lecithin from Soy is now being seen as an ingredient that blocks vital nutrient absorption. At this time, we recommend that all Soy products are consumed at very low levels, due to this new research. Please, avoid Soy milk, especially for children.
